About Dr. Laurie Crider, PsyD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Steamboat Springs

Therapy is both an art and a science — and it’s my calling.

I provide compassionate, expert psychotherapy and counseling for adults who are ready to do deep, meaningful work, especially in the areas of trauma, emotional healing, life transitions, and personal growth.

Whether you live in Steamboat Springs or anywhere across Colorado, I help people find clarity, connection, and resilience — not just relief from symptoms, but real transformation.

My Story — Lifelong Passion Meets Professional Purpose

I knew I wanted to become a psychologist when I was nine years old. That early sense of purpose never left me. At eighteen, I began answering phones for a crisis hotline, and from that moment forward, helping people navigate inner struggles became more than a career — it became central to who I am.

Therapy isn’t something I simply do. It’s something I live.

Helping people become more authentic while honoring their strengths, stories, and humanity is at the heart of my work.
